Born and raised in San Diego. His Parents Rick Downs and Robyn Downs are still married to this day.  He has one sister named Summer.  Derick and His Father Rick started Downs Lighting; a Landscape Lighting company for high end homes, winery’s, and new home developments.

After school Derick recieved his California Insurance License with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.  He was the top new sales rep for his first 4 months.  Shortly after meeting some great individuals he decided to take a break from the Busy Downtown San Diego living and move up to Norther California. He worked  as the Director of Marketing for Brutocao cellars; a small family vineyard in Mendocino County,  He loved it up in Northern California however he had a very unfortunate situation with some endangered bats living in his addict.  Long Story short he decided to move back to San Diego.

Upon moving back Derick was trying to figure out the best way to bring in new potential clients.  In 2007 He started in the credit card processing industry.  Working with several of the top processing companies  in the world, such as First Data, Meritus Payment Solutions, Authorize.net, E Processing Network, and many others.  From there he developed a company called Merchant Service Provider.  Being able to offer all the same features as an insurance agent, as well as a credit card processing agent gave Derick the advantage to find additional savings in all aspects of your business.  Being able to offer a variety of value added products  Merchant Service Provider now helps process millions of dollars a month in credit card transactions across the United States of America.

In 2010 Derick Downs  Incorporated in the State of California as

MSP-USA INC. Within the corporation he offers a variety of different products for all types of businesses.  MSP-USA, INC has added the ability to outsource websites at a scientifically lower price then many of their competition.

Derick Also has created a website called www.DDGIG.com .  This is a spin off version of several other sites.   The theme is:

Derick Downs is also in the process of creating one of the Biggest Platforms in the World called BidsList.  BidsList is going to revolutionize the service industry forever.  Derick, with help from his programmer Sanel,  has created a multilevel platform that is unlike any other website.  Derick Strives to make sure that He and his staff give the best customer service possible.
